A small, footed bowl scattered with indigo brushstrokes in the shape of loose leaves or petals, laid across a cream ground. Each mark is slightly different — some broader, some narrower, the angles shifting around the bowl — giving the pattern its handmade rhythm. The exposed terracotta foot grounds the piece.
Well sized for breakfast bowls, ice cream, dips or nuts. The restrained indigo and cream palette sits easily alongside other Fayoum bowls on a shelf, or as part of a mixed place setting.
